You know, Vet Techs are the first people you see when you come to a vet’s office and usually the last! It’s no wonder they are so important to our veterinarians and our customers who interact with them. We are recognizing our vet techs this week and the next tech we are featuring is Amy Randolph! This is how our interview went as she was cracking up about my costume of a skunk, I mean I didn’t stink . . .
Coco: How long have you worked here?
Amy: I have worked here just a little over a year!
Coco: And I’m sure that has just flown by, right? What animals do you have at home?
Amy: Two dogs, Mila and Pete, and a kitty named Ruby who are all rescues!
Coco: We love people who open their hearts to those animals who need furrrever homes! We do work with lots of different rescues so be sure to keep checking back with us about adoption events coming soon. Just last weekend we were out at The Underdogs Second Annual Barktoberfest and this coming weekend we will be at Hawgs for Hounds at Ray Trent Park so these are just two examples of awesome rescues doing great work in the community! Back to the interview, what did you want to be when you were little?
Amy: Originally a nurse but that soon evolved to a interest in animals. I always knew I wanted a job helping people and animals though! I have an incredible love and respect now for animals and having a job that makes their lives and the owner’s lives better sounded incredible!
Coco: We need more people like that in the world for sure! We are so happy that your interest brought you to Pet-Vet Animal Clinic! Give me an interesting fact about yourself?
Amy: I went to school for photography and it is also a great passion of mine! I hope that in the future I may be able to combine my talents in photography and love for animals in some way whether that be for rescues or other organizations! amy and dogs
Coco: My wheels are turning! I mean who wouldn’t love a calendar of 12 months of just pictures of me! Amy, I think we can do great things together, my fans need more of me! It could be pics of me in different countries in different outfits in different climates . . . . Speaking of travelling, if you could visit one place in the world, where would it be and why?
